Join the Sioux Falls Corvette Club at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds for the “hottest night” of the season!
The July 17, 2019 event will include great food by area food trucks, ice cold beverages and beer gardens, plus hundreds of Corvettes from across the nation on display!
The event is free and open to the public, a free-will donation is requested to benefit the South Dakota Veteran's Cemetery Foundation.
The Jimmy Bluffet Band – Jimmy Buffet tribute band -- takes the stage at 8:00pm. Concert tickets are $20 each for the general public and available at the Gate (concert ticket is included for registered attendees of the Black Hills Corvette Classic).
Fairground gates open at 4:00pm, all Corvettes are welcome to park (those registered and non-registered for the Black Hills Corvette Classic). Enter off I29 using the Madison Street exit. Corvettes will be lined up parked on the asphalt. There is plenty of room for club members and friends to park together. Cars will not be "landlocked". Emergency indoor parking will be available in the event of bad weather. General public parking will be available outside the show gates.
Other Event Activities:
Quick 60 Races | 5:00-7:00pm
Corvette drivers, this is your chance to show everyone how quickly you and your car can complete for the lowest 60 foot time from a standing start - but there's a twist - you must be in control of your car and have it stopped in another 40 feet (100 total starting feet from starting line). If you don't make the stop, your time doesn't count! Speed, skill and control are the keys to winning this race. Everyone is welcome to try -- $20 gets you 4 chances to win. First place will go home with $720 and a large trophy, second place will take home the prize of $280.
Free Adult Corvette Rides If you have ever dreamed of taking a ride in a Corvette, this is your chance. Drivers will take adults on a short ride around the event grounds.
Kids' Corral and Touch a Truck Children will have the opportunity to sit behind the wheel of a Corvette and have their photo taken. The Police and Fire Department along with Tow Trucks will also be on display.
Food Trucks & Beer Garden
For event comfort, there are over 100 picnic tables around the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds property. Grab dinner from a local food truck and beverage from the Beer Garden (adult beverages, water and soda) and enjoy the evening. Event credentials and packet pick-up will be available at Hot Summer Nites.
Official Black Hills Corvette Classic merchandise and the 2019 Hot Summer Nites t-shirt will be available for purchase.
